Warranty Information for TOZZBIKE Products

Warranty Initiation Procedure

To initiate your warranty and start the valid period, you must fill the Warranty Registration Form or request the form in 7 (seven) calendar days following the delivery date for online orders or invoice date for authorized dealer purchases. Make sure that you shared the invoice and all the requested information in the form. We’ll approve your warranty in 7 (seven) calendar days.

Warranty Information:

  1. Electric Powerpack Warranty: Your TOZZBIKE battery, controller, and rear hub motor are covered by a 12-month limited warranty from the original date of purchase. Please note, like all rechargeable batteries, the performance of your battery will naturally decrease over time due to charge and discharge cycles. This warranty does not cover damages caused by power surges, use of improper chargers, water exposure, poor maintenance, misuse, or regular wear and tear.
  2. General Mechanics Warranty: We offer a 24-month limited warranty, beginning on the delivery date, covering any manufacturing defects. This does not extend to damages resulting from power surges, water damage, improper maintenance, or misuse. Wear and tear on mechanical parts such as tires, tubes, rims, spokes, brake pads, cables, chain, wheels, grips, suspension, and the saddle are not covered.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Original Owner Requirement: This warranty is only valid for the original owner and is non-transferable. After purchasing, the owner must fill the Warranty Registration Form. A valid proof of purchase, including the original sales receipt and serial number, must be provided to claim warranty coverage. TOZZBIKE reserves the right to decline warranty claims if the provided documentation is incomplete or incorrect.
  2. Effective Dates: The warranty is valid from the delivery date for online sales or invoice date if purchased from an authorized dealer and remains in force for the specified period for each component.
  3. Maintenance Requirements: The warranty will be void if the care and maintenance instructions, as detailed in the owner’s manual or on the TOZZBIKE website, are not strictly followed.
  4. Exclusions: This warranty does not apply to products used for rental or commercial purposes and in case any exclusive terms applies.
  5. TOZZBIKE Components Only: Warranty coverage applies solely to systems and components provided by TOZZBIKE.
  6. Unauthorized Parts: The use of third-party or unapproved replacement parts voids the warranty.
  7. Warranty Inspection: Warranty claims will require photo or video evidence for evaluation by a TOZZBIKE customer service representative.
  8. Warranty Claims Process: This warranty covers only material defects or manufacturing issues. Should a fault be identified, the owner must contact TOZZBIKE or an authorized dealer to initiate a claim. Any part needing repair must be sent to an authorized dealer at the owner’s expense and risk, and the repaired item must be collected once the service is complete. Repairs performed by non-authorized personnel will not be reimbursed and will void the warranty. Repair or replacement of components during the warranty period does not extend the original warranty period. Replacements may be made using functionally equivalent components. This warranty excludes any claims for property damage, downtime, travel expenses, lost profits, or any other incidental costs. TOZZBIKE’s maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the product. 

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Warranty of TOZZBIKE products are limited and excluded ifnany of the following cases.

  1. Damage caused by external events such as falling debris, impacts, accidents, or other immediate effects from physical forces is not covered by this warranty.

  2. Replacement parts are only covered until the expiration of the original bike warranty, and no extended warranty will be provided for these components.

  3. The warranty does not extend to deliberate damage, theft, or vandalism. Misuse, such as exposing the product to liquids, chemicals, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, or failing to follow the guidelines in the Battery Handling and Charging Instructions, will void the warranty. Misuse also includes performing stunts, jumps, or riding with more than one person.

  4. Overcharging the battery or failing to follow the Battery Care Instructions (provided with the product or on the TOZZBIKE website) will invalidate the warranty.

  5. Regular wear-and-tear repairs, testing, maintenance, and replacements due to normal usage are excluded from coverage.

  6. The warranty is void if the model number, serial number, or product number on any TOZZBIKE component has been altered, erased, obscured, or removed. Additionally, tampering with or breaking the seal or serial number sticker on the battery case will void the warranty.

  7. Use of the battery in systems not specifically approved for this TOZZBIKE product is not covered by the warranty.

  8. Operating the TOZZBIKE system with batteries other than those designed specifically for it, as outlined in the owner’s manual, will result in loss of warranty protection.

  9. If any TOZZBIKE part has been opened, altered, or repainted without authorization, the warranty will no longer apply.

  10. The warranty will be invalidated if any firmware tampering or unauthorized modifications to the software are detected.

  11. Selling, gifting, or renting the product will terminate the warranty.

Labor Costs for Warranty Repairs: TOZZBIKE will repair or replace defective components under the warranty, but any labor costs incurred from non-authorized repair services are not included. TOZZBIKE reserves the right to deny coverage for labor charges at its discretion.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

For any warranty claims, please follow TOZZBIKE’s warranty procedure is as written below.

If you purchased your product online via tozzbike.com:

  • Please fill our Warranty Claim Form or contact us by email at support@tozzbike.com and you’ll receive a warranty claim form.
  • Photos of the damage/issue and proof of purchase must be attached.
  • Following the initial inspection, we will comment and take further actions based on the information provided. Based on the decision, you’ll be asked to send the product to our facility or the local authorized service.
  • After we examine the part and determine that your product is defective or faulty, your product will be repaired or replaced according to the decision and the defect.
  • Shipping and labour costs may be charged.

If you purchased your product from an authorized TOZZBIKE dealer:

  • Please contact with the dealer with the same documents described above and the process will be supervised by us.
